 International women's day

    The international women's day was celebrated at Mar Osthatheos Training College, Perumpilavu on 8 March 2022, In association with women cell ‘Nirbhaya’ and IQAC of the College. The purpose of celebrating Women's Day is - To raise awareness about the status and dignity of women among students. The program started with portraying quotes on ‘ ‘women protection’ and hand prints filled by colours or a cloth banner set up in the college yard.  All teachers and students participated in this event.  Our college principle Dr. Limsy John T delivered message of the day. As the theme of International Women's Day 2022 indicates  ‘gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow, she conveyed the importance of giving awareness about the same among children from the family itself. Programs were conducted at 12:00 p.m. in general hall by the first year B.Ed students. Hanna M P from Natural Science option, welcomed all to the program. Vijitha K  from Physical Science option given a speech on the topic relevance of March 8 as women's day and the role of gender equality in society. After that reels created by each option students, as a part of Women's day celebration, was presented one by one. It was an appreciative effort done by the students. The main attraction of the program was ‘Dance Drama’ on mental and physical challenges that faced by women in the current society. It was a meaningful execution. The whole program last for almost an hour. After vote of thanks delivered by Arya N J from commerce department, the posters made by students had exhibited.
